Dr. Yaman Al-Tal
Dr. Yaman Al Tal is a consultant urologist who graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology before moving to the United Kingdom in 2002 to complete his specialist training in urology. He obtained the UK Board Certification in Urology, followed by advanced fellowship training in endourology and urologic oncology at Imperial College London.
He later expanded his expertise to include andrology, sexual medicine, and penile implant surgery, earning certification from the European Board of Sexual Medicine (UEMS). He also completed advanced robotic urologic surgery training at Guy’s Hospital, London, becoming one of the first Arab urologists formally trained in robotic surgery for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer.
After returning to Jordan in late 2017, Dr. Al Tal has played a leading role in advancing modern urology through minimally invasive, robotic, laser, and reconstructive surgery while establishing one of the region’s leading centers for men’s health and penile implant surgery.

Treatment depends on the size and location of the kidney stone. Options may include medication to help the stone pass naturally, shockwave lithotripsy to break it into smaller fragments, or endoscopic removal when necessary.
